Transport & Local Coordination
Hinnøya Travel arranges transport and local coordination for tour operators travelling throughout the Hinnøya Region, including Harstad, Narvik, Lofoten and Vesterålen.
We can arrange airport arrivals and departures, regional transfers and individual transport legs within an existing tour programme, using appropriate local transport partners.
For longer journeys, the transfer can also become part of the programme. Routes between Evenes, Vesterålen and Lofoten can be developed as scenic regional journeys, combining the required point-to-point transport with selected stops, local hosting and time to experience the landscapes along the way.
This can be particularly useful on arrival and departure days, allowing groups to make better use of travel time rather than treating the journey simply as a transfer.

Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes is an important arrival point for groups travelling onwards to Vesterålen and Lofoten. These journeys can involve several hours on the road, but the transfer does not have to be lost programme time.

Private Arctic Evenings & Northern Lights Experiences
Hinnøya Travel develops private hosted Arctic evenings for groups travelling in the Hinnøya Region, including arrangements away from towns and the main organised tour environment.
Depending on the location, group and season, the experience can combine a private indoor and outdoor setting, local hosting, fireside atmosphere, hot drinks or food, photography opportunities and time outdoors under the Arctic sky.
During the Northern Lights season, these evenings provide an opportunity to experience the aurora if conditions allow, without operating as a conventional Northern Lights chase. Northern Lights appearances can never be guaranteed.
Private arrangements can be developed for individual groups and recurring tour series.

The Hinnøya Region offers a wide range of coastal settings for private group arrangements during the lighter months of the year.
